UC3842 is a high-performance current-mode pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller chip. It features single-ended output, capable of directly driving bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) or power transistors. The chip integrates an oscillator, a high-gain error amplifier with high-temperature compensation, a current sensing comparator, a totem-pole output stage, input and reference undervoltage lockout circuits, and a PWM latch circuit.
