GPS is the abbreviation of Global Positioning System. The system that uses GPS positioning satellites to perform real-time positioning and navigation on a global scale is called the Global Satellite Positioning System, or GPS for short. GPS is an all-round, all-weather, all-time, high-precision satellite navigation system that can provide low-cost, high-precision three-dimensional position, speed, precise timing and other navigation information to users around the world. It is a typical application of satellite communication technology in the field of navigation. It has greatly improved the level of informationization of the earth and strongly promoted the development of the digital economy.
GPS can provide functions such as vehicle positioning, anti-theft and anti-robbery, driving route monitoring and call command, etc. To realize all the above functions, three elements must be available: GPS terminal, transmission network and monitoring platform.

Project Introduction and Characteristics
The GPS module introduced in this project is NEO-7M, which is an upgraded version of NEO-6M, more stable and with better signal. The NEO-7M is an ultra-small GPS receiving module with a low-power main chip. The product uses a new generation of U-blox chips, ultra-high sensitivity, and has a full range of functions to meet the strict requirements of professional positioning.
GPS module features:
1:With MINI USB interface, you can debug the GPS module using a normal data cable, and no longer need to use tools such as USB-TTL.
2:A TTL interface is reserved, which can be used conveniently to receive GPS data using USB-TTL or a single-chip microcomputer.
3:The module has an onboard ceramic antenna, which allows for easy satellite search in open areas without the need for an external GPS antenna.
4:The ipx antenna interface is reserved, which can use an external antenna and has stronger satellite search capability.
5:Add EEPROM storage chip to automatically store setting parameters and other information. After power failure, the configuration is automatically saved without resetting.
6:The onboard MAX2659 signal amplifier chip provides stronger search capabilities.
